Onondaga County, NY – Authorities have confirmed that Jacqueline Chiodo, 43, who was reported missing yesterday after leaving Upstate Community Hospital, has been found deceased.

Jacqueline, who had been discharged around 1:00 PM, was last seen walking on West Seneca Turnpike in Syracuse. She had not taken her scheduled Uber ride, and the last confirmed sighting of her was while she was wearing green pants and a purple jacket.
The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office launched an immediate search for Jacqueline, appealing to the public for any information that could help locate her. Unfortunately, after an exhaustive search, her body was discovered in a wooded area on the outskirts of the city, not far from where she was last seen.
Jacqueline was described as 5’4″, weighing approximately 140 lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. Authorities have stated that the cause of death is under investigation, and they are urging anyone who may have seen her in the hours after her disappearance to come forward.
